Leopard gecko recently recovered from mbd struggling to eat.

My leopard gecko hasn't eaten in nearly 3 weeks due to having mbd but i treated her for it and it is a lot better but i was worrying about her not eating so i gave her mashed earthworm for a couple of nights so tonight when i put locusts in her viv she tried to hunt for the first time but she only bites them but can't catch them and keeps biting her tongue and even when i held them for her she struggled and i had to literally put them in her mouth for her to eat them.  She managed to eat two but i am very worried.  Is this connected to the mbd? How can i fix this problem?
