Question

What is the best age to sell baby corn snakes

I have got 10 baby corn snakes and I would like to sell them. Should I sell them when they are 3 or should I wait until they are 5 months old? I want them to make their bones first.

  • Tks. They have been put on sale when 3 months old. All are now confirmed feeders, they have been feeding and pooing well for weeks now. The 9 remaining ones are at the shop Birmingham Exotic Waters on Warwick Rd,in Brum. They come together with a veterinary checked and approved care sheet. Now both my females are gravid again. The male stops feeding as soon as he feels they are available. Last time he even failed a shed. Hope he makes a break this winter. Tks 4 ur advice anyway. If you want to purchase a baby corn, healthy and of traceable origins you know where 2 go! - wahlala
  • thanks anyway but i breed corns, royals, burms, false water cobras, gtps and leopard geckos - snakes-a-round

For me, it all depends on how well they are feeding. I like to make sure they have had at least 5 good meals in the them and have had a couple of sheds before I let them go.

I would wait until they are 3 months old before selling them, keep a record of hatching, feeding and shedding for the new owner.
